2010 Walks at South Bay Botanic Garden


The South Bay Botanic Garden continues it's tradition of Spring and Summer garden walks and talks with a great variety of topics for 2010.  Simply show up at the South Bay Botanic Garden at Southwestern College on the appropriate Saturday at 4:30 pm and park for free in Lot E.  The talks begin at the main entrance gate near the 1800 classroom building.  The cost is just $1 and all funds go to the improvement of the garden.

Holiday of Lights

Each year, the South Bay Botanic Garden decorates its garden with a superb showing of holiday lights.  You won't want to miss the festive atmosphere, the holiday music, and the twinkling light displays.

The next Holiday of Lights will be on December 10th, 11th, and 12th, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Admission is $1.00 per person or a total of $5 for families of 5 or more. 

 

Plant Walks and Garden Talks...

Plant Walks and Garden Talks are our way of educating the garden public about plants, garden topics, and the new and exciting developments in the horticulture industry. Join us on Saturdays, from 4:30 - 5:30 pm, on the dates listed below. Simply show up at the main entrance gates to the South Bay Botanic Garden at Southwestern College and enjoy the walk or the talk.

Our Garden Walks and Plant Talks are held between the months of March thru September each year.  Please check in February for our upcoming schedule.

(You may attend for free but a contribution of $5.00 will go towards the improvement of our botanic garden)
