Volunteer at the
South Bay Botanic Garden

San Diego County’s newest public garden would like your help. Located on the campus of Southwestern College in Chula Vista, this 4-acre delight provides beauty, learning opportunities, and a respite from busy everyday life.

How can you help our garden grow?  Beome a volunteer!

As a volunteer, you can do many useful things for the garden. For example, our garden is in frequent need of planting, pruning, weeding, and feeding.  We can certainly use your existing garden knowledge or we can train you in areas where you might be a bit lacking.
All we want is a person who loves plants and is enthusiastic about gardening.

To become a volunteer, simply visit the South Bay Botanic Garden during our open hours and check in with our Horticultural Technician, Eddie Munguia.  He will have you fill out a few quick forms and get you started right away in helping our garden look better and better.
